When an item is autographed, how do you know the signature is real?
GoMotorBids.com is proud to be able to offer items with autographs on them. However, we are very aware that many items offered over the Internet are being sold with forged signatures instead of the real thing. WE HATE FRAUD! In order to be completely above board with everything we do, we developed the following criteria for grading signatures on items.

Authentic - This autograph was obtained at a Gomotorbids.com/Gomotorsports.com event or at an event sponsored by our company. An employee of our company witnessed this autograph. OR, the manufacturer of the item obtained the signature, and originally offered it to the public as a personally autographed item. We stand behind this autograph and are willing to authenticate it and represent it as genuine.

Verified - This autograph was obtained at our request through our relationships with the driver, driver team, sponsor, supplier, or agent. OR, this item was obtained from a reputable collector or shop owner, and may include its own Certificate of Authenticity. Our employee did not witness this autograph, so we cannot fully authenticate the signature. However, it is highly likely that this autograph is authentic and genuine.

Not Verified - This autograph comes from a secondary source, meaning a collector or shop owner sold us a collection that included this item. It likely does not include a Certificate of Authenticity, but it is quite possibly an authentic autograph. However, we cannot be certain and are not willing to promote the autograph as authentic and genuine.
