Description:
CSX 2137 is known as the cobra that drew first blood in the Cobra-Ferrari wars of the 60’s. Dan Gurney’s victory in September of ‘63 was the first time that a cobra and an american driver won an FIA race. Shelby produced three “Lemans replicas” that were raced in ’63 as factory team cars and they became a fearsome foe on the tracks. This particular model is a brushed metal replica of the 1963 Cobra 289. Built as a special edition Cobra for the Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation, this die cast is a must have for any Shelby lover's collection. This is one of only 250 pieces produced by GMP that includes the Carroll Shelby autograped Certificate of Authenticity!, and guaranteeing that this will be the version everyone wants in the coming years!

Certificate of Authenticity
GMP made a dream come true for Shelby collectors when they produced this fantastic replica of the 1963 race equipped car. Intricately detailed from bumper to bumper, this car has it all. Of course the hood, trunk, and both doors open, the trunk correctly hinges in the "down" position. The body is finished in brushed aluminum, making this sure to stand out on display. The interior is equally impressive with real leather seats, authentic instruments, movable shifter, faux wood steering wheel, and driver harnesses. The gas filler cap also opens, the racing wheels look like real Halibrands, the racing exhaust exits on the side of the car, but the REAL heart of this model car is the racing 289 cu. in. V8 engine.
Of course the 8 Webers stand out as the first thing you see, but the other under hood details include a realistic Autolite battery, full hoses, distributor and spark plug wires, complex throttle linkage, photo-etch radiators, and oil breather pipe. Also included with this replica are a pair of tiny replica racing goggles, a helmet, and tool. Only 500 of this limited edition collectible were made, and not many are still available today. Don't miss your chance to get this fantastic replica!
On top of the fantastic detailing this collectible offers, Carroll Shelby has included an AUTOGRAPHED card with this Cobra. That's right, the legend himself has signed a card exclusively available with this die cast. The card he signed doubles as a certificate of authenticity to assure you the autograph is real!
