Description:
This incredible 1/12th scale model is a miniature version of chassis #CSX2431, which was one of the most famous factory-raced 289 Cobras. The actual car, which has now been fully restored, resides in the Shelby American Museum in Colorado. The car was originally driven by the legendary Ken Miles, who was a team driver for Shelby American during those years.

It was raced exclusively by Miles in '64 and '65, with the exception of the April '65 USRRC race in Pensacola, and was virtually unbeatable in AP (A production) racing in 1965. Miles and Shelby used CSX2431 as the development car for the 1964-65 Cobra team cars including the Daytona Coupes. Miles did constant testing and modifying of the car into the 1965 season. Developments and modifications including helm joint a-arms, sway bars, springs final 289 Weber manifold set-up were all first done on CSX2431. The car always carried the BRDC (British Racing Drivers Club) crest on the center of each door.

This huge replica is one of the finest Cobra collectibles ever produced, and can easily be called "museum quality". It captures the essence of the real car is stunning detail. Besides all the features we list below, this model has real leather-covered seats, working knock-offs with removable wheels, an accurate Le-Mans competition gas cap that actually opens,, a movable gear shift, and even miniature versions of Ken Miles open-faced helmet and famous goggles!

The super-low production run of only 750 pieces ensures that, much like it's full-size counterpart, it will only appreciate over time. If you are a Shelby fan or vintage sports car collector, this will be the centerpiece of your collection!
