In 2005, the Australian won his first career victory at Topeka, becoming the first man born outside North America to win a Top Fuel race. In 2006, he raced to victory at tradition-rich ACDelco Gatornationals, posted runner-up finishes at Las Vegas 1 and Seattle; and claimed his fifth POWERade Top 10 points finish.
