Description:
The unique shape of the PT Cruiser was first displayed at the Geneva Auto Show in 1998 when the Chrysler Pronto Cruiser was unveiled. At that time Chrysler said the two-door model was designed to explore efficient packaging for both passengers and cargo. One year later at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the wraps were taken off a production version of the 4-door PT Cruiser—yet another DaimlerChrysler vehicle to make it from concept to production in a very short time. A number of PT Cruiser concepts—including the GT Cruiser and Panel Cruiser—have been displayed on the auto show circuits.

The GT Cruiser combines the popular body style and popular features of the PT Cruiser with a Turbo engine. The key to the GT Cruiser's production potential is its 2.4L turbocharged four, which betters the stock Cruiser's 150-hp output by an impressive 50 horses. That's what this die cast is. The GT Cruiser has an opening hood and doors to show off great details.
