Description:
The Chevrolet Nova was an automobile produced in the United States from 1962 to 1979 by the Chevrolet division of General Motors and from 1985 to 1988 by the NUMMI, a joint venture between General Motors and Toyota. In its original form it was the top model in the compact Chevy II range and was marketed as the Chevrolet Chevy II Nova until the Chevy II name was dropped for the 1969 model year.

The Nova was popular with drag racers and others who wanted the most horsepower and speed. To showcase this phenomenon, GMP has brought out a 1/18 scale replica of a 1968 Chevy II Drag Nova in yellow with black stripes.

The detail on this thing is incredible. GMP has filled this machine with almost every detail under the sun! Under the hood, you'll find a plumbed, wired and detailed supercharged 427 Cubic Inch V8 four bolt main block engine, dual Holley 750 blower carburetors, polished aluminum heads, polished intake and 871 supercharger. Under the car, you'll see a GM 12 bolt positraction rear end and tank-mounted competition fuel pump. Inside the sled, there's a heavy duty GM four-speed on the floor, center-mounted Nitrous Oxide tank, dash-mounted competition tachometer, bucket seat and interior with full race roll cage. In plain view, there's even the classic old school Cragar mags with slicks and skinnies, a competition lift-off hood ...and much more!
