Description:
This item is being sold on behalf of the estate of Kenneth Bryan Barnard. Mr. Barnard was a passionate racing fan and automotive enthusiast, as well as an avid collector and customer of GoMotorBids.com. He passed away very unexpectedly in February of 2008, and all of us here miss our friend Ken. It is our privilege and honor to be facilitating these auctions on behalf of his estate, knowing that the proceeds will benefit the three beautiful young children that he left behind. It seems like just yesterday that we were experiencing NASCAR in the 1980s with names like Gant, Waltrip, Richmond, and Baker.
However, just think how long it has really been since Buddy Baker was behind the wheel of a NASCAR Stock Car. To give you an idea, the last car he raced was the #28 black and silver car. Since then, Jarrett, Allison, and Rudd have all been in that car. It's been longer than you probably think. Well, we have a terrific car for you now. Buddy Baker only drove the #21 in 1983 and 1984. He posted a win and nine top ten finishes behind the wheel of the Valvoline #21. So when this was produced in 1995 it was already an historical replica.
This is an excellent opportunity to get one of the more rare NASCAR die-cast collectibles that has ever been made. All you have to do is be the high bidder at the end of this auction and you will own this car. Just try finding another Buddy Baker die-cast collectible. Good luck, "Buddy"!
