Description:
The name Sam Bass has become a household name to NASCAR fans all over the country. Since good friend Dale Earnhardt helped Bass get the exposure and make the connections he needed in the industry, Bass has grown to have an extensive fan base. Though Bass started with paintings of NASCAR greats, he has also designed paint schemes, haulers, uniforms, and helmets for race teams.
Rusty Wallace made his Winston/Nextel Cup debut in 1980. And in 2005, 25 years later, Wallace made his "last call" with racing. That season, Wallace didn't have any wins, but he did have eight top fives and 17 top tens. To honor Wallace's "Last Call" tour, Miller Brewing Company commissioned Bass to create an illustration that featured significant elements in Wallace's career. Bass included cars from Wallace's ASA days through his NASCAR Cup Championship, including numerous paint schemes.
And what makes this particular piece even more rare and unique is that is has been PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED by Rusty Wallace himself!
