SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE TO PLACE A BID ON THIS ITEM! Item # 995286 GMP 1/18 Bill Saunders #8 Highway Master 1994 Chevrolet Camaro Trans-Am: VERY RARE UNRELEASED PROTOTYPE!
Description: This is a VERY RARE 1 of 1 GMP UNRELEASED PROTOTYPE! That's right, this prototype was never released in a retail version! GMP very rarely gives collectors the opportunity to purchase their prototype, and thanks to one collector, we are giving you another shot!
Before we purchased this item from the previous owner, we contacted GMP to verify that this (and other tooling samples/prototypes in the collection) were legitimate. Mat Long, who is GMP President Tom Long's son, verified the legitimacy of the cars before we purchased them. If you would like additional confirmation, you can contact Mat via GMP's website at GMPdiecast.com.
Bill Saunders raced several seasons in the SCCA Trans-Am series, driving for the Highway Master team. In 1994, he drove the #8 Camaro, which is the car that this GMP 1/18 scale replica is of. In 1995, he continued to drive the Highway Master/Auto Link Camaro, alongside teammates Tim McAdam, Price Cobb and Paul Gentilozzi.
If you are a hardcore GMP collector, or a massive Trans-Am fanatic, then this UNRELEASED PROTOTYPE is for you!
