OUR MISSION

In 1997, Ray Evernham established Racing for a Reason in an effort to raise awareness of the need for cancer research and provide an avenue of giving in the fight against blood related cancer in children, specifically leukemia. Ray and his family were touched by this disease when his son, at age one, was diagnosed with leukemia. Today, Ray's son, Ray J., is considered a survivor.

Racing for a Reason is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is devoted to helping those in need and funding the ongoing research to find a cure for cancer. Racing for a Reason supports The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in addition to many other charitable organizations and efforts.

OUR AUCTIONS

GoMotorBids is proud to have been selected by Ray Evernham to be the official online auction for the Evernham Family Racing for a Reason foundation. This section will features auctions for rare and unique pieces of racing memorabilia, which have been sent to us directly from Mr. Evernham or the Racing for a Reason offices. The net proceeds of these auctions will go directly to The Racing for a Reason Foundation and the charities they support.
